About Joy
Born and raised on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, Joy's multicultural heritage — Korean, Hawaiian, English, Portuguese and Chinese — has profoundly influenced both her artistic voice and her entrepreneurial vision. Guided by her Christian faith and an enduring love for people, animals and nature, she has devoted her career to building organizations, brands and creative projects that inspire hope, education and positive change.
Joy launched her first business at twenty, discovering early that she possessed a natural ability to build companies, solve problems and bring people together. Today she combines three decades of entrepreneurial experience with modern digital innovation — spanning AI, publishing, branding and global media.

Joy believes success carries a responsibility to give back. Beyond business and art, she is devoted to causes that align with her deepest values — from animal welfare in her home state of Hawaiʻi to building educational platforms that improve lives globally.
Joy is devoted to advancing privately funded mobile veterinary clinics throughout Hawaiʻi, led by Dr. Krysta on Maui, and eventually across the United States and beyond — making veterinary care more accessible while helping reduce pet overpopulation through education, prevention and community outreach.
